    The Town of Aurora on Tuesday unveiled an Every Child Matters rink board at the Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex. This is one of five arena rinks that will display the special rink boards as a symbol of the Town’s commitment to a meaningful reconciliation with Indigenous communities.

  • Aurora Shows Strong Signs of Post-Pandemic Recovery

    Aurora’s economy continues to show strong signs of post-pandemic recovery, with 3,037 jobs added to the town’s employment base since 2019 along with 72 new businesses, according to York Region’s 2022 Employment Survey Results. The overall job growth between 2019 and 2022 far exceeds the small drop in employment that occurred during the height of the pandemic.
