Centered between the newly renovated Aurora Public Library and Aurora Museum and Cultural Centre, The Square features a diverse range of highly programmable interior and exterior spaces that complement Aurora’s historic downtown.

Features

During the winter months, a beautiful outdoor skating loop is complete with an overhead catenary lighting system. A large holiday tree sits atop the amphitheatre, adding charm and ambiance. During the warmer months, the skating loop transforms into an interactive water feature, while the amphitheatre is a site for outdoor community gatherings, events, performances, and more.

The Aurora Museum & Archives can be viewed and enjoyed in an environmentally-controlled collections space.

The Treasure Hill Bridge provides visitors with year-round access to Aurora Public Library and the Museum and Cultural Centre, in addition to cozy seating that looks out to The Square.

Rooted in Aurora’s history and created with an inclusive and sustainable focus, Aurora Town Square is a dynamic community facility and vibrant outdoor square that offers unlimited possibilities for arts and culture, entertainment, shopping, dining, and more. Come see for yourself!
