Parks

The Parks Division manages over 64 parks encompassing more than 800 acres.

Connecting many of the parks is a trail system of approximately 62 kilometres designed to accommodate joggers, hikers and skiers. To search for parks across Aurora please use our interactive map.

Parks Maintenance Standard Service Levels

*Please note that in accordance with the Town of Aurora, Parks Maintenance Standard Service Levels, the Parks Division completes turf maintenance cycles (including sports fields, parks and open space areas) as follows:

One maintenance cycle every 14 days from mid-April to mid-June
One maintenance cycle every 10 days from mid-June to September 1st
One maintenance cycle every 14 days from September 1st until mid-October

During the months of May-June and again in September-October there will be periods where turf appears excessively long due to rapid growth conditions and presence of seasonal weeds in between maintenance cycles.
