Skylight Gallery

Located at Aurora Town Hall (third floor).

At the Town of Aurora, supporting and nurturing the arts is a top priority.

Available for in-person viewing, the Skylight Gallery is a beautiful open space, topped by a dramatic skylight where art show exhibitions are showcased and celebrated.

Backboards and track lighting have been installed to display artwork in a striking setting. Public admission to this ever-changing art show is free.

Most of the monthly featured artists are from York Region and beyond. The goal of this exhibition space is to provide the community with an accessible art gallery in a unique, convenient setting. Showcasing artists are invited to also hold a reception in the Skylight Gallery during their chosen month.

Shows will also be made virtual for those who cannot attend in-person.

Monthly Feature Artist

“Beyond Limits” is an immersive exhibition featuring a collection of oil paintings that celebrate the resilience, passion, and vision of the world’s greatest athletes and musicians. Inspired by Danielle's interests in sports and music, these works explore the parallels between the two—where discipline, sacrifice, and the pursuit of excellence push boundaries and defy expectations.

Through bold brushstrokes and dynamic compositions, her work captures the energy of performance, the intensity of competition, and some of Canada’s most iconic moments in sports history. “Beyond Limits” is a tribute to the legends who inspire us, proving that greatness is not just achieved—it is earned.
