Three Aurora events win Festival & Events Ontario Top 100 Award

Three Town of Aurora events have been awarded a 2025 Top 100 Award, during the Festival & Events Ontario’s (FEO) Annual Conference “SYNERGY” in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. The winning Aurora events are Concerts in the Park, Haunted Forest and Multicultural Festival.

The FEO Top 100 Awards celebrates Ontario’s premier festivals and events. In the Fall of 2024, community festivals and internationally recognized events were submitted for consideration and evaluated by an independent panel of judges. The events were measured for their innovation, uniqueness, economic contribution to the community, and overall leadership.

“We are thrilled to have three of our events recognized in the FEO Top 100. This honour reflects the dedication, creativity, and leadership of our Town staff, community organizations, and volunteers who make our events so unforgettable. Thank you to FEO for these awards and to our community for your unwavering support," said Aurora Mayor Tom Mrakas. "Let's continue to make Aurora a place where memories are made and celebrated together."

Aurora’s Concerts in the Park, Aurora’s Haunted Forest and Aurora’s Multicultural Festival were supported by 150 performers, 135 volunteers, 23 small businesses and 18 community groups and non-profit organizations.
