Slice it your way: Aurora launches annual pre-budget survey

Share your thoughts online from May 15 to June 16

The Town of Aurora is thrilled to announce the kickoff of its annual online pre-budget survey, inviting residents to share their thoughts and feedback under the theme "How would you slice it?".

From May 15 to June 16, residents can visit engageaurora.ca/Budget2025 to participate in the survey. This interactive platform provides an opportunity for community members to have their say on budget priorities, ensuring their voices are heard in the creation of the 2025 Budget.

"We want residents to feel empowered to shape the future of our community. The 'Slice it Your Way' campaign encourages everyone to participate and contribute to decisions that impact Aurora," says Mayor Tom Mrakas. " All feedback received will be shared directly with the Aurora Town Council for their consideration during the budget planning process. The Town Council is committed to transparency and ensuring that the budget reflects the needs and priorities of the community.”

As an added incentive, all completed surveys will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a pizza dinner for a family of 4, courtesy of the Town of Aurora.
