Aurora Celebrates Chanukah with Menorah Lighting Ceremony

The Town of Aurora, in partnership with Chabad Aurora, invites you to join us at Aurora’s Annual Menorah Lighting Ceremony on Monday, December 11 in Aurora Town Hall.

WHEN:

Monday, December 11, 2023
Doors open 6 p.m.
Program starts 6:30 p.m.

WHERE:

Aurora Town Hall
100 John West Way
Aurora, ON

WHAT:

Bring your friends, family and neighbours to celebrate as we enjoy this festive evening filled with traditional celebratory foods, a Mentalist performance and more! The celebration of Chanukah, which is also known as the "Festival of Lights" is one of the happiest of Jewish holidays. This is a celebration of faith and strength through times of overwhelming odds. The menorah serves as a powerful symbol of religious freedom. Chanukah is observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with nine branches known as a menorah. Join us as we light the 5th candle on the menorah.
